Concept
I was approached by a youth group to create a t-shirt for their theme for the year based on Matthew 6:33. They wanted a ‘medieval’ design, and they asked that it only be a one color screen print to keep costs down.

Inspiration
I wanted to give capture the idea of a medieval kingdom and thought of a shield with a coat of arms. So with a modern twist, I created a shield shape with ‘Seek 1st’ emblazoned on it. The starburst behind the 1st is printed half-tone which gives the illusion of more depth while still using just one color in print.
