Concept
I was asked to develop a postcard and t-shirt design for a yearly fall conference attended by RUF students from several college campuses. I was told they wanted an “outdoors-y” feel and they wanted to shift away from typical fall color schemes.

Inspiration
Thinking about fall and the outdoors, I was struck by the idea to do something with wolves. As I played with different concepts, the idea of an emerging tree line in the wolf’s fur began to form. I tucked the body of the wolf into a circular shape to further bring home the idea of a wolf howling at the moon.
